Around is a cross-disciplinary design and architecture practice based in Istanbul. Since its founding in 2020, the studio produces designs in the fields of furniture, digital print artworks, and spatial environments with a focus on human experience and holistic spaces. Having studied architecture and urban design, founder Öykü Üner’s approach artfully balances positive and negative space, considering the relationship between objects and spatial volumes. The works have a sculptural and architectural character, encouraging a heightened awareness of every material detail.
